50 Rupees

Posted: February 21, 2011 in Diary

When this month started i hardly bought anything other than paying the usual rent and grocery shopping.

My folks took me shopping for engagement dress and make up.

Now coming back to the 50 rupees, I booked tickets for bro’s friend (near to a dozen) for my wedding and am left with just 50 rs in my account.  😥 😦  Since I have sodexo, I can eat out lavishly, though can’t go out often.

I have to ask my friend to book few more tickets. I don’t have credit cards 🙂 😀

I hate taking loans, but this time it was unavoidable . You know how train ticket gets booked so fast ?? !!

Recent days i learned  to say no to people who ask for loan. (  In the past, most of the times i got cheated . Only a few kept their words )

Thinking of this, i wonder how my dad manages finances for my engagement, marriage and reception in totally three different places and mandapams/hotel.  On top of it he travels to native often for the arrangements.

My younger bro also started saving for me  (He is just outta college a year ago and acting all matured and big bro kinds, especially during this occasion )

I write diary minus the finances, now it’s time to include a column for finance in my diary too : ) 🙂 🙂

Lesson Learned : Plan your expenses ahead and you don’t have to live like a pauper.
